RENT-A-CAR

Most guests arriving at the Costa del Sol choose to take a Rent-a-car. This is easily available right at the Airport. As you pick up your luggage from the luggage belt, do NOT pass immigration, but walk down the staircase to your right just before immigration and you find on the lower floor the most commonly known Rent-a-car companies. Do compare prices of the different companies, however, booking this in advance from your country of residence tends to give you an even better price.

LEAVING THE AIRPORT

As you leave the airport take direction of ALGECIRAS / CADIZ on the A7 (old N340 ) which you will find within the first two minutes of leaving the airport. After a few kilometers you will have the possibility to change over to the chargeable motorway AP 7. But we would like to suggest not to do it, because that motorway has no exit to Benahavis. So stay on this National Route A7 for about 65 km, passing by Fuengirola, Marbella and San Pedro de Alcántara. Shortly after you pass through San Pedro, about 2 km you will find on your right side the exit to BENAHAVIS. This will lead you through a beautiful valley northwards. Arriving into the village, follow the main street until the end, go down the hill, turn left and you will see a beautiful reddish building. Welcome to Amanhavis!
